Xavier Koller

Xavier Koller ( born June 17, 1944 in Ibach, Schwyz community ) is a Swiss filmmaker.

Life

He first served an apprenticeship as a mechanic and then visited the Acting Academy Zurich. After a few years of practice as an actor in 1984 he founded the production company Catpics AG. In 1991, his film journey of hope the Oscar for best foreign language film. He lives and works since 1991 in Los Angeles. His film about the city of Berne Original Dällebach Kari celebrated 2012 Premiered at the Solothurn Film Festival.
