XCircuit

XCircuit is a program for schematic representation of circuits and allows to save it as a PostScript or SPICE files. It runs both under unix -like operating systems as well as under Microsoft Windows, but is an X server ahead.

It was developed by Tim Edwards at Johns Hopkins University in Laurel as a drawing program for the electric technology education in 1993. Today XCircuit is mostly used for presentation purposes and design automation.
