XEEP-AM

Radio Educación (also known as XEEP - AM) is a Mexican state radio station. It was founded on November 30, 1924 at the initiative of the then Minister of Education José Vasconcelos.

Today, Radio Educación is subordinated to the Ministry of Education and is administered by the Arts Council Conaculta. The governmental order of the transmitter is the spread of education, the arts and culture. The broadcast center is located in the Colonia Del Valle in Mexico City. Among the better-known programs include the news program " Pulso " and the event " Entrecruzamientos ", which is broadcast daily 19-20 clock.

Connected to the transmitter is also the Hörarchiv " Fonoteca ", the largest with more than 600,000 sound recordings of its kind in Latin America. The permanent exhibition of the archive is located on Avenida Francisco Sosa in Coyoacán.
