Xidaotang

Xidaotang (Chinese:西 道 堂, first called Jinxingtang金星堂, the " Han schools Sect " ( pai Hanxue汉 学派) or " Chinese School ") is a Sino- Islamic school of thought. It was founded by Ma Kwee (1857-1914), a Hui Chinese from Lintan in Gansu, the beginning of the 20th century. In their doctrine of Islamic faith is relatively strongly fused with traditional Chinese culture.

It is mainly used in Lintan and Hezheng in northwest China's Gansu Province, and also has followers in the province of Qinghai, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and Sichuan Province. It is a Hanafi school of Sunni tradition similar to Qadim ( Gedimu ), has taken the Jahriyya elements. Works of Liu Zhi and other serve as her Da'wa source.

Great emphasis is placed on Jiaocheng (教 乘) and on the " own belief system " ( Daocheng道 乘) down, " the stages as the depersonalization and mystical union with God leads " ( Hu Fan).

Its members are organized collectively in a kind of Muslim communities and work together. One focus of the organization is on education.
