Xisco (footballer born 1986)

Francisco Jiménez Tejada, artist name: Xisco ( born June 26, 1986 in Palma de Mallorca ) is a Spanish football player. The striker is currently with FC Córdoba under contract.

Career

Tejada began his professional career in July 2004 with Deportivo La Coruna. However, he could not enforce properly and denied in the following two years, only twelve games in the Primera División. At the beginning of the 2006/07 season he was loaned to second division side UD Vecindario, the División in the Segunda at the end of season relegation- B. In summer 2007, Xisco returned to La Coruña. Beginning of September 2008 moved to the English first division Xisco Newcastle United, he signed a contract until 30 June 2013.

For the 2009/10 season he was loaned for the entire season at Racing Santander. After his return in the summer of 2010 he played for half a year in Newcastle. In January 2011, he returned on loan to Deportivo La Coruna. After the descent of the team in the summer of 2011, he initially returned to England, but was awarded in August 2011 for the entire season at Deportivo La Coruna. At the end of the season Deportivo got back in the Primera División on.

Xisco was also in the squad of the Spanish U- 21 team.
