XM1219 Armed Robotic Vehicle

The Armed Robotic Vehicle ( ARV) (German armed robotic vehicle ) is a set project for an unmanned ground vehicle and was therefore part of the Future Combat Systems program of the United States Army. It was originally intended to give before the deletion on 12 February 2007, two versions: one attack variant and a reconnaissance version. The vehicle would have been part of the military Global Information Grid in an implementation.

Versions

The two versions should use the same chassis. The reconnaissance version should take reconnaissance tasks and embarrassed Unattended Ground Sensor. It should support you own units in combat and serve as a communications relay.

The attack version should enlighten the environment in dangerous terrain ( MOUT ), embarrassed sensors serve as a communications relay and saw combat objectives. The difference was that the reconnaissance version should not have any anti-tank guided weapons, but a mast -mounted sight unit.
