Yamhill-Carlton District AVA

The Yamhill -Carlton District AVA is a wine -growing region in the U.S. state of Oregon. The modern viticulture began in this area around the mid- 1960s, the recognition as American Viticultural Area (AVA ) was carried out in 2004. Attached are other varieties, especially the early -ripening Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.

Location

The area extends within the Willamette Valley in the northeast of the state.
