Yani Tseng

Yani Tseng (also: Ya Ni Tseng ) (traditional Chinese:曾 雅妮) (born 23 January 1989) is a Taiwanese professional golfer who currently plays on the LPGA Tour.

Amateur career

From 2004 to 2006, Tseng was the best amateur player in Taiwan. In 2003, she won at the Callaway Junior Golf Championship. The highlight of her amateur career was winning the U.S. Women 's Amateur Public Links, where they are in the final against Michelle Wie prevailed.

Pro career

Tseng joined in January 2007 turned professional. She played on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour and won the DLF Women 's Indian Open. They also played on the CN Canadian Women 's Tour, where she won the tournament at the Vancouver Golf Club.

Because Tseng finished the final LPGA Qualifying Tournament in December 2007 as the sixth, she received the full entitlement for the LPGA Tour in 2008.
