The language Yangkam (ISO 639-3: bsx, also bashar, basharawa, Bashiri, yankam ) is an almost extinct tarokoide language, which is spoken by only 100 mostly elderly people in the Nigerian state of Plateau in four localities: Tukur, Bayar, Pyaksam and Kiram along the road Amper- Bashar.

The language is related to Pe [ pai ], which is the language group of the tarokoiden languages with two other languages. The members of the Yangkam ethnic group speak today mostly English, the official language of Nigeria, as a native language, but accentuate her identity as Bashar. Some can also use the Hausa as a second language. The language is therefore in danger of extinction.
