Yao Jie

Yao Jie ( Chinese:姚 洁, Pinyin: Yao Jie ) ( born April 10, 1977 in Wuhan, Hubei ) is a Chinese-born badminton player who competed for the Netherlands later.
Yao played at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In the first round she won against Jiang Yanmei (Singapore ), but in the second round she failed to Wang Chen of Hong Kong.
With the BC Amersfoort she reached the final of the European Cup in 2007, which was held in Amersfoort itself. With Lotte Bruil, Larisa Griga, Dicky Palyama and Eric Pang they lost to the team NL Primorje. The Dutch Open 2012 declared Yao Jie, that this were their last Dutch Open.
