Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel

The Yas Hotel (Arabic فندق ياس ) is a 5 -star hotel on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. It is integrated into the car Yas Marina Circuit, on 1 November 2009 held a Formula 1 race for the first time in Abu Dhabi. The Yas Hotel is currently (December 2011) by the Viceroy Hotel Group under the official designation " YAS VICEROY ABU DHABI " managed.

The hotel, which was designed by Asymptote Architecture, is located partly on water and partly on land. It consists of two twelve -story buildings that stand on either side of the track. Guests can watch the race from the common areas and overhead of parapets.

The buildings are spanned by a 16,000 m² curved cantilevered roof Waagner Biro. The roof is made up of 5,100 diamond-shaped glass panels and 10,500 steel fasteners. It is equipped with LEDs and can light up in changing colors.

At 85,000 square meters, the hotel has 499 rooms and eight restaurants. The Presidential Suite is equipped with furniture from the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
