YÄska
Yaska ( Sanskrit: यास्क, YASKA; approximately the 7th century BC) was a grammarian of ancient India. The work attributed to him is the Nirukta, which is a part of the Vedangas, a collection of auxiliary sciences to interpret the Vedic ritual texts. Yaska employed in this text mainly with questions of etymology.
