Yazgulem Range

The Jasgulem chain (Russian Язгулемский хребет ) is a mountain range in the autonomous province of Gorno-Badakhshan in Tajikistan in the western Pamirs.

The Jasgulem chain forms the watershed between the river Jasgulem the north and the Bartang in the south. The mountain range has a length of 170 km. The average altitude is 4500-6000 m. The highest peak is the 6940 m (according to other sources 6974 m) high Pik Abu Ali Ibn Sino (formerly Pik revolution in English Independence Peak). Another high peak in the Jasgulem chain is the Pik Fikkera ( 6025 m). To the north, the Fedchenko glacier extends. In the central part of the mountain chain of the summit Qullai Vudor ( 5757 m ⊙ 38.23389971.8017415757 ) is the glacier area is about 630 km ².
