Yedisu ( Turkish for seven water), (formerly Çerme ) is a town and a district in the north of the province of Bingol in Turkey.

The county has an area of 522 km ², which is about 5% of the total area of ​​Bingöl. Yedisu is located 1,500 m above sea level. The entire area is mountainous.

Mountains of the region: Çavuşlu Dagi in eastern, Şeytan Dagi ( 2,906 m ) in the south, Bagir Dagi ( 3,173 m ) in the west, Kosan Dagi ( 3,078 m) in the north.

According to the state in 2011 to live in the district Yedisu 2,835 people and in the city Yedisu 1317, the majority of which are Kurds.

The village Çerme was until 1951 a part of Kigi. 1970, a fountain with seven taps was built in Çerme, after then, the place in Yedisu ( dt: Seven water) has been renamed. The county Yedisu was only founded on May 20, 1990 by law.
