Yehezkel Flomin

Ezekiel Flomin (Hebrew יחזקאל פלומין; born August 2, 1935 in Jerusalem, the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine ) is an Israeli jurist and former politician.

Life

Flomin visited the Tikhon Aleph Aleph High School or the School of Art Tel Aviv (Hebrew תיכון א ' לאמנויות תל אביב; Aleph English School of Arts) in Tel Aviv, and then studied law and economics at the University of Tel Aviv, whose he faculty from 1962 to 1969 belonged. From 1971 to 1972 he was a member of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Flomin was since 1953 a member of the Liberal Party, which was from 1973 until its dissolution in alliance with the Likud. From 1974 to 1981 he was a Member of the Knesset and member of the Finance Committee, as well as of 28 June 1977 to July 30, 1979 Deputy Minister of Finance in the government of Prime Minister Menachem Begin.

In 1986, he left the Liberals to get along with Josef Lapid and Shlomo Lahat, a new liberal center party called haMerkas haLiberali (Hebrew המרכז הליברלי ) to set up.
