Yelena Mizulina

Jelena Borisovna Misulina (Russian: Елена Борисовна Мизулина, scientific transliteration Elena Borisovna Mizulina; born December 9, 1954 in Bui ) is a Russian politician of the Just Russia party.

Life

Misulina studied law at the State University Yaroslavl. Misulina politically active throughout her life in several parties, including the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Misulina is in the Russian Duma for the Just Russia party since 2007 Member of Parliament; she succeeded in 2011, the re-entry into the Duma.

She is the author of the Law of the Russian Federation against gay "propaganda". Misulina is married and has two children.

In the course of Krimkrise it was set in 2014 as one of several deputies in the Duma on a sanctions list of the USA, because it is seen as key actors and you see them as Drahtzieherin against minority rights. Misulina himself complained to the West because they want to avoid the "rebirth" of Russia.
