Yellow Pages Endeavour

P1

The Yellow Pages Endeavour is a specially designed for record-breaking sailing ship.

The sole objective of this very unconventional construction was the world speed record for wind-powered watercraft (then held by a windsurfer ) to break.

In October 1993, the Australian Simon McKeon succeeded with 46.52 knots ( 86.2 km / h ) at Sandy Point / Victoria, the world record attempt.

Since 14 October 2004, this record was, however, again in reference to the windsurfers. Antoine Albeau held this holds with 49.09 knots until the record went back to the sailboat Hydroptère on 24 April 2007.
