Yenice, Karabük

Yenice is a Turkish town and the westernmost district of the province Karabük in the Turkish Black Sea region. The city has about 10,000 inhabitants.

The district is located in the west of the province, bordering Zonguldak and Bolu. Yenice lies in the valley of Yenice Irmağı between wooded hills on the road connecting D -030 Karabük after Zonguldak on the Black Sea. Most of the houses lined up on both sides of generously divided by a green strip main road. A four-lane northern bypass road was nearly completed in late 2011.

At its heart are the great mosque with a domed roof and the adjoining bus stop. Another small mosque with a hipped roof is slightly above a short distance. A sawmill is located in the city, this and other farms in the area to process the logs from the mountains.
