Yerdos Zhanabergenov

Jerdos Dschanabergenow is a retired Kazakh boxer in the light heavyweight division.

He won, among others, in 2006 and 2007, the Kazakh Championships, and in 2006 also the international panel Schokir Boltekuli tournament in Aktau. However, his greatest successes he achieved in 2005. In July, he reached the 3rd place team in the 10 team World Cup in Moscow, and in September 1st place at the 23th Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City. He hit play in the final Otkirbek Haydarov from Uzbekistan. In November, he also won with victories against Hak -Sung Song from South Korea ( 34:20 ), Ben McEachran from Australia ( 36:24 ), Mourad Sahraoui from Tunisia ( TKO ), Otkirbek Haydarov from Uzbekistan ( 36:31 ) and Marijo Šivolija from Croatia ( 27:12 ), the 13th World Championships in Mianyang.

In October 2006, he still won the second World University Championships in Almaty, with victories against Yegor Mechonzew from Russia ( 20:15 ) Dschachan Kurbanov of Tajikistan ( 22:16 ) and Bahram Muzaffer of Turkey ( 24:11 ). In December of the same year he took part in the 15th Asian Games in Doha, but lost this time in the quarterfinals against Dschachan Kurbanov ( 21:33 ).

In May 2007 he won the 35th Chemistry Cup in Halle Germany, beating the Germans Gottlieb Weiss ( 15:9 ) and Robert Surge ( 21:8 ). In 2010 he reached against Anil Kumar Sharma from India (12-0 ), Ainar Karlson of Estonia ( 8:0 ) and Elber Passos from Brazil (5:1) the final of the 53rd World Military Championships in Camp Lejeune, but lost the battle for gold against the Americans Jeffrey Spencer ( 0:5 ).
