Yevgeniya Sidorova

Yevgenia Nikolaevna Sidorowa (later Kabina; born December 13, 1930 in Moscow, † 29 October 2005) was a Russian skier. She started in all alpine disciplines.

Career

Sidorowa was athlete of the run by the KGB performance sports club Dynamo Moscow and took 1956-1964 for the Soviet Union three times at the Olympic Winter Games in part. At its premiere in 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, she won the bronze medal in the slalom surprisingly, the only precious metal in Olympic history for the Soviet Union in the alpine disciplines. On her performance she was not able in subsequent Winter Games.
