Yevgeny Yorkin

Yevgeny Mikhailovich Jorkin (Russian: Евгений Михайлович Ёркин; born August 23, 1932 in Noginsk, † 1994) was a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender.

Career

During his career played for Krylia Sovetov the goalkeeper Moscow. Overall, he was at 270 games in the Soviet league in goal. He was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On 10 February 1957 he was in a game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the bronze medal at the Olympic Winter Games 1960. For the national team, he stood at 22 international matches between the posts. On February 25, 1960 he played his last international match.
