Yığılca

Yığılca is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Düzce. The village lies about 25 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital of Düzce.

The district lies to the east of the province. It is bordered on the southwest by Kaynasli, in the west to the central district, on the northwest by Akçakoca, on the north by the province of Zonguldak and to the southeast by the Province Bolu. From Yığılca a road leads west to the provincial capital and one to the north to the Black Sea in Alapli. The county town is on the river Melen Çayı between the mountain chains of Akçakoca Dağları the north and the Bolu Dağları in the south. To the west of the river to the dam Hasanlar Baraji is dammed.
