The Río Yi is a river in the center of Uruguay.

The left-hand tributary of the Río Negro rises in the south of the city of Cerro Chato in the Cuchilla Grande. The Río Yi crosses the country mainly from east to west. He leads past the towns Sarandi del Yi and Durazno and forms from becoming part of his left-side tributary of Arroyo Maciel the border of the Departments Flores and Durazno.
