Yisrael Katz (Israeli minister)
Israel Katz (Hebrew: ישראל כץ; born December 6, 1927 in Vienna, † 29 October 2010) was an Israeli politician.
Although he was never a member of the Knesset, he was Minister of Labour and Social Affairs under Menachem Begin 1977-1981. Previously, he had been from 1968 to 1973 director of the National Insurance Institute.
Katz was married to Marcel Rousseau Katz and had two sons.
