Yogi Tea

Yogi Tea is the registered trademark for " Ayurvedic spiced tea " which was founded in the early 1980s Golden Temple Company in Eugene, Oregon. Sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is taken from the Golden Temple Natural Products GmbH based in Hamburg.

Under the brand name "Yogi Tea" are traded internationally over 50 different blends of tea. The classic, after the yoga teacher Yogi Bhajan (1929-2004) named and prepared according to the original recipes Yogi Tea contains no black tea and is therefore just as fruit or herbal tea to be among the tea-like drink. The classic Yogi Tea consists of a blend of spices with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves and black pepper.

Other Yogi Tea variants contain ingredients such as chicory root, anise, coriander, or cocoa. Furthermore, also produces chai, herbal teas and green teas under the brand Yogi Tea.

Yogi teas are made ​​largely from organically grown ingredients since the 1990s.
