Yoram Globus

Yoram Globus (Hebrew יורם גלובוס; * 1941 in Tiberias, Palestine) is an Israeli film producer.

Life

Together with his cousin Menahem Golan, he took over in 1979, the film production company Cannon Films. Together, they are among the most important independent film producers. Previously, the two were already in Israel since the 1960s in the film business operates. Globus produced films that were directed by Golan, including Operation Thunderbolt from the year 1977. Latter was nominated the following year for an Oscar as best foreign language film.
