Yoshimi Ozaki

Yoshimi Ozaki (Japanese尾崎 好 美, Yoshimi Ozaki, born July 1, 1981 in Yamakita, Ashigarakami -gun, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese long-distance runner.

In the road race World Championships 2007 on the half -marathon in Udine she placed 13th in 1:09:26 h, and in early 2008, she was second in the Kagawa Marugame Half Marathon in 1:09:30 h

Shortly after, she made her debut on the full distance at Nagoya Marathon and was second in 2:26:19 h At the end of the year she won at the last edition of the Tokyo International Women's Marathon in 2:23:30 h and thus qualified for participating in the marathon in the world Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009. There she won in a time of 2:25:25 h the silver medal.

2010 she won the London Marathon on the 13th Place. In the World Half Marathon Championships in Nanning she finished ninth and won the bronze medal with the Japanese team in the national rankings. 2011 Ozaki won the Yokohama Marathon, finishing at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu on the 18th Place.

They will start for the company team of life insurance Dai -ichi Life. Her older sister Akemi Ozaki is also successful as a marathon runner.
