You Me at Six
You Me at Six (also YMAS, YM @ 6 or youmeatsix ) is an English Pop-/Rock- or pop-punk band that was founded in 2004 in Weybridge ( Surrey ).
Band History
Past (2004-2008)
The band You Me at Six was established in Weybridge. In the period 2005 to 2007, the group had several small concerts, which were distributed over the whole of Great Britain. In the early years of You Me at Six pieces of music were often dominated by screams, such as on the first EP We Know What It 's Like to Be Alone.
2007 another EP was released, but has no name. As of 2007, the band had even larger concerts, the record label Slam Dunk took them under contract and Craig Jennings of Raw Power Management became their manager.
Take Off Your Colours (2008-2010)
In 2008, the band released their first studio album Take Off Your Colours. The album made it to number 25 in the UK album charts. From October 15 until November 4, 2008 took a tour instead for this album. 2007, the band was at the Kerrang! Awards as "Newcomer Band of the Year " and was nominated in 2008 as " Band of the Year ".
The band had in 2009 from 6 to 13 March 2009 with the 7:7:7 tour their first tour as a headliner. In May 2009 the fifth single Finders Keepers has been published. The band also played from 1 to 23 August 2009, the Vans Warped Tour in 2009 and was allowed on December 6, 2009 as the opening act of the group Paramore in Cologne, occur on 4 December in Berlin and on 3 December in Hamburg. They also met in 2009 at the Rock am Ring festival.
Hold Me Down (2010-2011)
A year after the release of their debut album, the English group now reported back with their second album Hold Me Down. On June 17, 2011, she appeared as one of the first bands on the Hurricane Festival. 2010 You Me at Six lost at the Kerrang Awards for Best British band to Bullet for My Valentine, but won with Liquid Confidence the award for the best single of the year.
Sinners Never Sleep (2011-2013)
In October 2011 the band released their third album on iTunes and as a Deluxe Edition on CD ( includes documentation Bite My Tongue ). The album reached # 3 on the charts.

Music style
