You Say Party

You Say Party (until June 2010:! You Say Party We Say Die) is a five-piece dance-punk band from the Canadian Abbotsford. Their first album, Hit the Floor! was published in September 2005.

Band History

You Say Party! We Say Die! was founded by Stephen O'Shea and Krista Loewen in November 2003. The first show they played in a church basement of their home town in April 2004, the same year they self-released their first EP, which they danskwad the name. (Pronounced: " Dance Squad " ) announced.

In 2005, the band earned a certain level of recognition, because they toured as the opening act for bands such as Pretty Girls Make Graves by Canada. In September they released their album Hit the Floor!, Which earned them some positive reviews.

2006, the band was interviewed on Much Music and the music video for their song The Gap was financed from a fund for Canadian newcomer bands. In May and June they toured the United Kingdom and Germany, followed in August her singles The Gap and You did it! came out in Europe.

In October, they wanted to launch a major U.S. tour, but this plan failed due to faulty Visa, which made entry impossible. In addition, there is the bassist Stephen O'Shea banned until 2011, to enter the United States.

In January 2007, the Group signed an agreement for a new album.

On April 18, 2010 passed away drummer Devon Clifford after a stroke he had suffered at a concert on the stage. In June of the same year it was announced that from now on the band You Say Party means. In addition, Krista Loewen left the band. The two open positions are the future of Robert Andow and Bobby Siadat of the band originating from Vancouver gang Violence with which You Say Party! We Say Die! already jointly stood on the stage, occupied.
