Your and My Secret

Your and My Secret (Japanese僕 と 彼女 の× × ×, Boku to Kanojo no XXX ) is a manga by Ai Morinaga, which appeared from 2001 to 2011. The work has been translated into several languages ​​and can be classified in the genre comedy and romance.

Action

The gentle and restrained Akira Uehara (上原 あきら) has fallen in love with the sweet looking but rough and uncultured Nanako Momoi (桃 井 菜 々 子). Although she does not let him come near him, he wants to take care of her when she is sick. But when he visited her, wants to conduct an experiment on her her crazy grandfather. As Akira wants to prevent this, both sides exchange their bodies. Shortly thereafter, Nanako's grandfather fled to Hawaii and they can not undo the exchange.

After initial problems, Nanako feels in Akira's body well. By their nature, he is heartthrob among female and she soon falls in love with Makoto Shiina (椎 名 真 琴), which was Nanako's best friend once. The last chapter was released August 2011. Mag Garden brought the manga in eight anthologies out.

The manga is published in English at Tokyopop, in Italian by Star Comics and in Spanish at Ediciones Manga Line. A German edition was published from October 2007 to June 2012 at Tokyopop. The German translation is by Karsten Küstner.

Adaptation

On 21 April 2006 the real movie Boku to Kanojo no XXX came in Japanese theaters, based on the manga.

Reception

According to Splash Comics Ai Morinaga has the idea often used in swapping body managed and implemented new, funny and aptly reflected the gender-typical situations in which the characters find themselves. The story is romantic as funny and executed the drawings nice and soft.
