Your Party

The Minna no Tō (Japaneseみんなの党, dt "party all " or " everyone's party ."; Engl Your Party ) is a political party in Japan. It was created by Yoshimi Watanabe (formerly LDP) founded in August 2009 and three other deputies. The party calls for, among other reforms of the government bureaucracy, the public finances and the financial relations between the central government and prefectures.

The members of the party executive call themselves partners (パートナー, Patona ), which are next to Watanabe Kenji Eda, Keiichiro Asao, Motoko Hirotsu and Koichi Yamauchi. In the general election on 30 August 2009, she was able to gain a seat and is thus represented by five deputies in Shūgiin.

Election results

In its short history, the Minna no Tō was relatively successful in elections: In 2009 Shūgiin choice they could defend their number of seats and even went on to win a seat in addition, at the 2010 Sangiin election surpassed the Kōmeitō as the third strongest party and established himself at the unified regional elections in 2011 in several prefectural parliaments.

Prefecture level

Some of the 41 parliamentary elections, which were conducted in the regional elections in 2011 won the candidates Minna no Tō 3.4% of the votes and moved into several prefectural parliaments, including in Watanabe's home Tochigi Prefecture as the second strongest party.

Municipal level

The Minna no Tō has more than 200 members in municipal councils, especially in urban districts and special districts (Tokyo).
