Youssoufou Bamba

Youssoufou Bamba is an Ivorian diplomat.

Life

He was accredited 23 December 2011 amid the political crisis of 2010/2011 as the new ambassador to the UN in New York in a ceremony. He was proposed by Alassane Ouattara. Its predecessor was Alcide Djédjé, a supporter of Laurent Gbagbo. Bamba was accepted unanimously by the General Assembly of the United Nations, which was generally regarded as a recognition of Ouattara as the election winner.
