Yuchanyan Cave

Yuchanyan (Chinese玉蟾 岩 遗址, Pinyin Yuchanyan Yizhi, English Yuchanyan site Yuchanyan - site ') is a Palaeolithic and Neolithic site in the large village of the district Shouyan Dao Yongzhou in Hunan province of China. It is approximately 10,000 years dated before today and was excavated in 1993. The discovered findings provide important insights into the rice cultivation and the early pottery.

The Yuchanyan - site is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5-91 ) since 2001.
