Yuichi Nishimura

Yuichi Nishimura (Japanese西村 雄 一, Yuichi Nishimura, born April 17, 1972 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football referee. It's 2004 Official FIFA referee since 1 January.

His international debut Nishimura at the U- 17 World Cup 2007 in South Korea. He whistled including a quarter-final and the final. When African Cup 2008 in Ghana, he was the only non-African referee.

In the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, he was one of four judges of the AFC. In the same year, he led the final of the AFC Champions League match between Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma Zob Ahan Isfahan and (3:1). It was also the at the FIFA Club World Cup 2010 in action and led in this tournament two games, including the final between Inter Milan and TP Mazembe ( 3-0). In the Asia Cup 2011 in Qatar, he worked at three games of the group stage in use. Due to the advance of the Japanese national team, he came into the final round, no longer used. For the summer of 2012 he was nominated by FIFA for the Olympic Games in London.
