Yury Vasilyevich Malyshev

Yuri Vasilievich Malyshev (Russian Юрий Васильевич Малышев, scientific transliteration Yuri Vasil'evič Malyšev; born August 27, 1941 in Nikolaievsk, Stalingrad Oblast, Russian SFSR, † November 8, 1999 in Zvezdny Gorodok, Moscow Oblast, Russia) was a Soviet cosmonaut.

Training

After Yuri Malyshev attended from 1949 to 1957, the high school " N24 " in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, Russian SFSR, he joined the Soviet air forces. 1963 closed Malyshev his training at the Air Force Academy in Chuhuiv, Kharkov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR from. Salyut 6 EP -6

Saljut7 EP-1

Malyshev was assigned as commander of the mission Salyut 7 EP -1, which should bring the first team to visit the new space station Salyut 7 with the Soyuz T-6. Subsequent activities and Private

After he retired from the cosmonaut corps on July 2, 1988, Malyshev was shortly thereafter Deputy Head of the Main Department of the cosmonaut training center.
