YÅ«ya Oikawa

Yuya Oikawa (及 川 佑jap, Yuya Oikawa; born January 16, 1981 in Ikeda, sub-prefecture of Tokachi, Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese speed skaters. He specializes in the sprint distances.

Yuya Oikawa 2004 was over 500 meters Asian champions. The following year he came fourth on the same track at the Olympic Games in Turin. In 2005 and 2006 he was runner- Japanese, again via the 500 meters. Oikawa won two World Cups in the 100 meters and won the 2005 /06 over this distance the overall World Cup.
