Yves Ker Ambrun

Yves Ker Ambrun ( born October 4, 1954 in Tours), known as YKA, is a French cartoonist. He has worked among others for Disney and has since 2000 devoted to comics and illustration studio.

Career

At the age of 13 years recorded and Yves Ker Ambrun published with Mesa Boum his first comic. He started with 17 his drawing studies at Pratt Institute in New York City and later at the École des Beaux -Arts in Paris. He then worked as a draftsman, designer and art director for advertising character and animated films, as well as, among others, for Disney as artistic director for Central and Eastern Europe.

Yves Ker Ambruns first German publication Flippo and Punkina began in August 1988. He lives in Darmstadt since 1991 and operates since 2000 his own comic and illustration studio " Skydog ".
