Zabit Samedov

Zabit Samedov (nicknamed " Maugli ", Azerbaijani: Zabit Səmədov, Rus: Забит Самедов; born 21 June 1984) is an Azerbaijani kickboxer who fights for the club Chinuk Gym in Minsk, Belarus.

Life and career

Zabit Samedov was born in Georgia, in the Azerbaijani family. When he was 10 years old, emigrated with his family to Minsk. At 9 years old he began intensive playing sports. His first coach was Dursunov Aziz, who coached him for 6 months in Karate. Later Zabit started with the martial art of Muay Thai. Since 1988 he is a member of the famous martial arts association " Chinuk GYM " in Minsk. There, trained him Dmitry Piochesky with other martial artists like Alexey Ignashov and Sergei Gur. In his total career Zabit Samedov was several times World and European champions. By the time he devoted himself to the martial art at the professional level. Today he lives in Belarus.
