Zac Posen

Zac Posen ( born October 24, 1980 as Zachary E. Posen in New York City ) is an American fashion designer.

Life

Posen grew up in New York's SoHo (Manhattan ). He attended St. Ann's High School for Artists in Brooklyn. Already at the age of 14 he was accepted at the Parson's School of Design and studied in London at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design later. After his studies in London, Posen 2001 returned to New York and began work on his first own collection. Since its premiere in 2002 Posen collection is considered trendy designers and equips, among other celebrities such as Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez. He has won several awards, including in 2004 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America ( CFDA ) in category Ready-To- Wear. Zac Posen is living with his boyfriend Christopher Niquet and three dogs near SoHo. Poznan is a Jew and was elected in April 2012, from the website Shalomlife in 9th place of the "50 most talented, smartest, funniest and dearest Jewish men in the world ".
