Záchlumí (Tachov District)

DELTA X ( German Eisenhüttel ) is a municipality with 427 inhabitants ( 1 January 2010) in the Czech Republic. It is located 6 km north- west of Stříbro at the source of Petrský Brook, a tributary of Mies. The m at an altitude of 497 above sea level on the western slope of the Stelka village ( 545 m) located belongs to the Okres Tachov.

History

The first mention of the town dates from 1359. The place was located in the Middle Ages in the possession of citizens and the municipality of Mies. In the 18th century it became part of the dominion Weseritz. The vicarage was Gosolup, the local birth - Dormition church was a branch church. Between 1890 and 1923 belonged to Eisenhüttel Wikau ( Víchov ). From 1938 to 1945, the town belonged to the district of Mies. 1939 220 people lived in the place.

To January 1, 1980 Záchlumí was incorporated into Stříbro. Since November 24, 1990 there is a separate municipality again.

In the village the OF INTERNATIONAL sro is established, making packaging for confectionery.

Attractions

The Baroque Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was originally a Gothic structure and was rebuilt 1699-1701. In 1838 she received the hexagonal onion dome. Today, the building is very dilapidated and the interior has been demolished.
