Zadní Třebaň

Zadnà Třebaň ( German background Trebain ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers south-east of Beroun and belongs to Okres Beroun.

Geography

Zadnà Třebaň located on the edge of the nature reserve Český kras ( Bohemian Karst ) at the mouth of the creek Svinařský Potok ( pottery ditch ) on the right bank of the Berounka. The village lies at the foot of Hřebeny in Brdská Highlands. In the southern part of Zadnà Třebaň the Bach Bělečský creek empties into the creek Svinařský. To the west stretches the nature reserve Voskov. In the north, the Strážný vrch (507 m) and the Babka rises the Policko (360 m), northeast of the Louček ( 338 m) and the Skalice (308 m ) in the east of Hvíždinec (476 m), southeast (506 m), south of the U Červeného kříže ( 548 m) and the Vrážky ( 577 m ) and west of the V Doubcích (312 m) and the Voskov ( 369 m). By Zadnà Třebaň the railway line Prague- Plzeň runs from here the railway line Zadnà Třebaň - Lochovice branches. At the Zadnà Třebaň station footbridge leads across the river to Hlásná Třebaň.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1000, when Duke Boleslav III. the Benedictine monastery Insula next several villages, the fishermen left in Dražová, Třebaň and Lahovice. On January 17, 1205 confirmed King Ottokar I. Přemysl the monastery the donation.

After the construction of the new King's Castle Karlstejn IV bought the Benedictines part of both sides of the ford of the trade route from Mořina located after Hostomice settlement Třebaň from in 1357 and suggested that the castle Karlstejn to rule. Zadnà Třebaň later came out of the possession of the monastery of noble lords. In 1462 the miller Váňa was registered in the country table as the owner of the free mill on a branch of the river below the Mies Třebaň. In 1550, King Ferdinand I bought it after a resolution of the States General, the village in exchange for the most remote of the Karlstejn Castle feud Trhove Dušníky of Wenceslas Bechinie of Lazan. Since 1694, a judge is detectable in Zadnà Třebaň. With the introduction of the house numbering in 1770 consisted of Zadnà Třebaň 31 houses.

In 1846 there was behind- Třebaň, and rear - Střebaň or Zadno Tréban of 31 houses with 250 inhabitants. After the abolition of patrimonial formed Zadnà Třebaň / rear Třebaň 1850 with the district Rovina a municipality in the district of Smíchov and judicial district of Beroun.   • Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk on the village square, erected in 1730 by the Supreme Judge George Karl Steiner Schalansky ( Jiří Šalanský ). It was renovated by the municipality in 1997.
