Zadní Zhořec

Zadnà Zhořec ( German background Zhoretz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers northwest of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Zadnà Zhořec located in the Arnolecké Mountains in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village lies on a knoll on the left side above the valley of the brook Křibský creek. Southeast of the Hora rises ( 549 m), in the south the Strážnice (608 m ) west Dědkovská hora ( 694 m) and krib ( 667 m) and in the northwest of Kyjov ( 702 m). South of the town of Křibský will brook in the ponds Nový fishpond, fishpond Stary, Horni Běhalův rybnik and Dolni Rymešův rybnik jammed.

Neighboring towns are Záhradište in the north, Vrbův Mlýn and Krásněves in the northeast, Dolni Bory in the east, minced lard and Dolni Mlýn in the southeast, Horni Mlýn and Netín in the south, Dedkov the southwest, Cerna and Milíkov in the west and Kyjov and Pavlov in the northwest.

History

The site was probably founded at the end of the 13th century the monastery Třebíč and belonged to the estates of the Provost Měřín. The first mention of Zhorec was in 1466, when the village acquired Heinrich Woyk of torrent. Then Zhorec was pledged to the Lords of Pavlov. 1491 bought Wilhelm II of Pernštejna the place and joining it to his reign Měřín. Vratislav of Pernštejna sold Zhorec 1557 to Jan the Elder. Stránecký of Stránec, which it struck his reign Zhoř. 1729 Zhoř was with all the accessories purchased by the rule Velké Meziříčí. At the end of the 18th century, the town name was preceded by the predicate ZadnÃ. Until 1848 Zadnà Zhorec stayed Velké Meziříčí submissive.

After the replacement of patrimonial Zadnà Zhorec formed in 1850 the Town of Netín in the District team Velké Meziříčí. In 1922 the municipality Zadnà Zhořec. In 1961 the assignment to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou was. 1980 Zadnà Zhořec was incorporated into Radostín nad Oslavou. Since 1990, the community is again and since 2003, she leads a coat of arms and banners.

  • Chapel of St.. Trinity with bell tower, the village square, built in the 19th century
  • Black marble cross, near the chapel
  • Horni Mlýn, the Upper or Rymes Mill is as old as the village. At the mill included a sawmill. After the First World War the mill was shut down.
  • Dolni Mlýn, Lower Mill was built in the second half of the 19th century and was operated until 1954. As the Upper Mill, it serves today as a residential building.
