Zadoc Kahn

Zadoc Kahn ( Zadok Khan, Zadok Kahn, born February 18, 1839 in Mommenheim, Alsace, † December 8, 1905 in Paris) was Chief Rabbi since 1868 (grand rabbin ) of Paris (since 1889) of France (prior to the 1905 Act introduced for the separation of religion and state recognized by the state as the last ), Officer of the Legion of Honour.
