Kamiennogórska, Zadrna

The Zadrna ( German Zieder ) is a river in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. He is a right tributary of the Bober and has a length of 16 kilometers.

The Zadrna is the main river of the same named Ziedertals, which is also known as Grüssau pool. It rises at an altitude of 600 n.p.m. m in the eastern slopes of the Raven Mountains between Berthelsdorf and Schomberg. In its upper reaches it flows northeast through Chełmsko Śląskie, then north along the highway Chełmsko Śląskie - Landeshut. The villages are on their way Olszyny ( alder village), Jawiszów ( Kleinhennersdorf ), new, Grüssau and Czadrów ( Oberzieder ), which all belong to the municipality ( gmina ) Kamiennogórska. In the city Kamiennogórska ( Landeshut ) the Zadrna empties into the Bober.

The Zadrna collects the water from the western mountains and the raven About Schaar and east of the mountains and the Schömberger Waldburger Bergland. During periods of increased rainfall or during snow melt can be expected flood. Several times the Zadrna burst its banks and has flooded adjacent places.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the reservoirs " Grüssau I" and were " Grüssau II " is created in the less irrigated catchment areas of the river.

The fauna in the river is dominated by trout, grayling and minnows.

1971 a recreation area of 7.9 ha was applied to a lake with 20,000 m³ in Kamiennogórska.

In the catchment area of the Zadrna there are two mechanical-biological treatment plants: one in Chełmsko Śląskie at a rate of 290 m3/day and one in Krzeszów with 250 m3/day.

On the banks of Zadrna was commissioned in 1899 Ziedertalbahn.
