Zajączkówko

Zajączkówko ( German New Sanskow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is part of the rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) Połczyn -Zdrój ( Bad Polzin ) and is located in the powiat Świdwiński.

Geographical location

Zajączkówko is located six kilometers south-west of Połczyn -Zdrój ( Bad Polzin ) on a side street. Station is Zajączkowo at the track Połczyn -Zdrój - Złocieniec ( Falkenburg ).

History

Zajączkówko was once a fief of the Zozenow family, which was later transferred to the families of Glasenapp and Krockow. Some lands belonged to the families of Manteuffel.

In the year 1867 136 inhabitants were counted in 17 scattered houses. The Barbican Great Vorbruch (now Polish: Rzęsna ) was incorporated at that time already with New Sanskow to a Gutsbezirk, while small Vorbruch remained independent.

1939 lived 185 inhabitants in 43 households in New Sanskow that belonged until 1945 to the district Belgard ( Persante ). District was Bramstädt ( Toporzyk ), 1945 Georg Klix held the office. The competent registry office was in Old Sanskow ( Zajączkowo ) and was last performed by Friedrich Bock and Georg Witte. The local court was Bad Polzin ( Połczyn -Zdrój ), while the police station in Brunow ( Bronowo ) was established.

Beginning in March 1945 urged the Red Army in New Sanskow. The village became part of Poland, and the indigenous population was expelled. Today Zajączkówko is a district of the rural community Połczyn - Zdrój is located in the powiat Świdwiński.

Church

New Sanskow belonged until 1945 to the parish Zuchen (now Polish: Sucha - Borkowo ). These formed together with the parish Ziezeneff ( Cieszeniewo ), Alt Schlage ( Sława ) and Redel ( Redło ) the parish church in the county Ziezeneff Schivelbein the Church Province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. Last German pastor was Paul Blank.

Today Zajączkówko is part of the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

School

New Sanskow had its own school in which the children were taught from pre-fold. Last German headmaster was Walter Treichel.
