Zaldy Ampatuan

Zaldy Uy Ampatuan ( born August 22, 1967) is the governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao ( ARMM ) and was elected on 8 August 2005.

He is one of the sons of Andal Ampatuan, the politician, Sr. and former chairman of the Lakas - Christian Muslim Democrats for ARMM region. He was deposed in late 2009 when his brother, Andal Ampatuan, Jr., was blamed for the massacre in Maguindanao. As one of the main suspects he was arrested and was in custody; In April 2010, the lawsuit was dropped but against him and he painted with his uncle Akmad Ampatuan from the list of suspects.
