The Žampašský viaduct ( Žampacher Viaduct ) is a railway bridge on the railway line Čerčany - Vrané nad Vltavou in the Czech Republic. It is regarded as one of the highest einetagigen stone arch bridges in Central Europe. Noteworthy is the position on curved track is only 180 meters radius. This is one of the few brick viaduct Žampašský large bridges that are in the bow and to have a slope.

History

The construction of the viaduct began in 1898. At the construction site about 200 Italians were employed, who had already gained experience in the construction of the Alps railways.

The building stone used from granodiorite came from the quarries in Borek and Kamenný Přívoz. They were transported with a box car and a two-track funicular to the site. A total of 5780 m³ broken stones, 600 cubic meters square, 450 m³ voussoirs and 56 bit consoles were bricked up. For the construction of falsework 488 m³ round logs and 750 m³ posts were consumed.

On May 1, 1900, the railway line was opened over the bridge.
