Zamua

Mazamua or Zamua and Lullumu ( Akkadian KURMazamu / Lullumu, Babylonian URUMazamua / Zamua ) was an Iron Age region with several small kingdoms and bordering on Parsua, Namri and Hubuschkia. The center was in the valley of Sulaymaniyah.

Historical development

Assur- Nasirpal II called the country Lullumu, it made 881 BC tributary after the kings of Mazamua received an alliance with Nur -Adad the Kingdom Dagara.
