Zand tribe

The Zand (Kurdish: Zend ) are a Lekstamm in Kurdistan. The Zand live in Iran, especially the border region - the same Dahestan in the province of Hamadan - between the provinces of Lorestan and Hamedan, come sporadically in Khorasan and Baluchistan before. In Iraq, north of Chanaqin encountered an eponymous tribe that has the same religion and language with the Zand in Iran.

The founder of the Zand dynasty, Karim Khan, was a member of this tribe.
