Żaneta Glanc

Żaneta Glanc ( born March 11, 1983 in Poznań) is a Polish Discus.

Żaneta Glanc starts for the club AZS Poznań. She improved her personal Bestweiten from 2007 with 59.36 m above the year 2008 with 61.42 m up to 2009 to 63.96 m. For Poland, she participated in Beijing at the 2008 Summer Olympics. However, in the qualification of the Olympic competition they had three failed attempts and only one of 38 starters and retired. At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 they had their largest ever international success. They finished fourth with a distance of 62.66 m. In the Summer Universiade 2009 in Belgrade, she won the silver medal with a distance of 60.57 m. At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu, she repeated her success in Berlin and finished with thrown 63.91 m again in fourth place.
